Saint Hripsime Church
The church of St. Hripsime was built in 618 by Komitas catholicos in Vagharshapat city (present-day Echmiadzin). Before the church was constructed, Hripsime Virgin’s burial vault existed here. The bell-tower attached to the western façade was built in 1780. -
