Baghaberd Fortress
Above the point where the rivers Voghdji and Geghi merge, on a rocky hill the ruins of Baghaberd are situated. In the 12th century this construction with its double walls and mighty towers was the capital of the Syunik kingdom, but was destroyed in the 1170\'s by the tribes of Turks-Seljuks. -
